DA 5 BLOODS (Spoiler) Round Table Review
Ian, EMan, and David are back with a spoilerific look at Spike Lee's Da 5 Bloods, which is now streaming on Netflix. When four African-American Viet Nam vets return to the site of the battle that claimed their friend's life, they must grapple with five decades of anger, guilt, and unresolved feelings about the war. Upping the stakes are several million dollars in unclaimed gold, a French bomb-deactivation squad, and nefarious outsiders who revitalize an age-old conflict in the new century.
