Ep790: PREY (2022) - Movie Review
Ian and David review Dan Trachtenberg's Prey!
The fifth official Predator movie recently debuted on Hulu, and and centers on Naru (Amber Midthunder), a young Comanche teen living in 1719, who dreams of being a hunter like her older brother, Taabe (Dakota Beavers). When she encounters an invisible threat from another world, she must use her wits and skills to combat a nasty Predator--as well as the other tribe members who seek to keep her down.
The guys approach their spoiler-packed review from a couple of different angles, including how it matches up with previous entries in the series; how it stands as an action movie in its own right; and why the puzzling a-historical aspects of the premise kept one of them at arm's length throughout.
