Presley Richardson stars as Casey, a 13-year-old girl navigating her parents' messy divorce while staying with her grandparents for the summer in East Texas. Her sole fixation is creating the perfect mixtape, which is one painfully elusive song away from completion. When she's not fourth-wall monologuing about the sanctity of headphones and strategies for recording songs off the radio, Casey bobs and weaves through a series of misadventures with new friends in the neighborhood.
